January 6th, 2011.  Having conquered Ciste Dubh, via Am Bathach.  It was a steep climb, made difficult with a snow and ice storm.  But the descent was even more terrifying.  A sheer face of pure ice, and me with no crampons, I was at times paralyzed with a touch of vertigo.
