October 27, 2011. The moment I left the airport, there was no doubt that I was back in Africa: The inescapable sun bearing down on every living thing. Tourist Visa for Kenya
The Italians I sat with en route to Mombasa had thankfully thought ahead and printed out copies of the Kenyan visa and customs applications. And they had extras. We filled them out on the plane and while the rest of the travelers mulled around at the gates waiting for access to a pen to fill out the sheets handed to them, we passed straight through ready to go.

A Note on my hometown, Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City is really like a boom-town these days. It’s growing and expanding and in a very cool way. Arts, culture, sports, music, architecture… it’s been heaving and pushing it’s way slowly over the years, but this careful and deliberate expansion of all things good has resulted in what I can only describe as… the mod equestrian…? Not sure about that choice of words...
